The Lombardi Group, headquartered in Switzerland, is represented in France by its subsidiary Lombardi Ingénierie SAS, which has three offices in Paris, Lyon and Marseille.
It specialises in transport infrastructure engineering and urban development projects. It is involved in major infrastructure projects, particularly in the road and rail sectors, as well as urban development projects.
Lombardi is also able to support its clients throughout the entire lifecycle of their structures, offering operational support services – notably as a training provider – and maintenance services for structures and equipment.
Lombardi provides project management (MOE), client support (AMO), and technical and regulatory consultancy services. Furthermore, the company also carries out audits, structural inspections, and specific and detailed design studies.

The French division of the Lombardi Group, comprising mainly engineers and senior technicians specialising in a range of disciplines, is active in all areas relating to infrastructure – particularly tunnels – from the early stages (feasibility and preliminary studies, project design, and construction supervision) right through to the commissioning and operation of the structures. Lombardi’s team also includes experts accredited by the National Commission for the Safety Assessment of Road Structures (CNESOR), who guarantee high-quality expertise for tunnel safety projects. Lombardi also draws on its experts in motorway safety and tunnel operations, as well as its Tunnel Safety Officers, to support tunnel operators and carry out technical coordination assignments between contractors and operators, ensuring that tunnels reopen in the morning following night-time works carried out under stringent operational constraints.
