CERIB is France's Industrial Technical Centre for the concrete industry, providing independent expertise, testing and engineering services for underground infrastructure projects.

For tunnel owners, designers, contractors and precast segment manufacturers, CERIB supports the development and qualification of innovative lining solutions, from material design to full-scale validation. Our multidisciplinary expertise covers concrete mix-design, low-carbon concrete, performance-based durability, structural behavior, fire safety engineering and life-cycle assessment.
Our integrated testing capabilities include advanced material characterization, durability assessment, structural testing of tunnel lining segments (bending, thrust jack, joint and watertightness testing), as well as full-scale fire testing under standard or project-specific fire scenarios. This unique combination enables clients to validate the complete performance of tunnel solutions within a single technical framework.
CERIB also provides technical consultancy, numerical modelling, certification support and project-specific qualification campaigns for underground infrastructure projects in Europeand internationally.
