ATP , founded in 1968, is an Italian company specializing in the production of advanced composite materials for the civil infrastructure sector. Its expertise originates in the field of industrial composites and has evolved over time through the introduction of innovative technologies. A key milestone in the company’s history was the 1985 joint venture with the Pirelli Group, which brought pultrusion technology to Europe — a continuous manufacturing process for high-performance thermoset and fiber-reinforced composite profiles.
Today, ATP operates three production plants and an in-house Research & Development center equipped with an advanced testing laboratory for quality control and the development of new solutions. The company’s headquarters are located in Angri, in the province of Salerno, in a strategic logistic position between the ports of Naples and Salerno, enabling fast shipments throughout the Mediterranean and worldwide.
Over the years, the company has invested significantly in environmental sustainability: in 2022 it installed a photovoltaic system capable of fully meeting the energy demand of both production and office operations. ATP has also converted all production lines to closed-loop cooling systems, drastically reducing water consumption, and has replaced all internal handling equipment with electric-powered vehicles.
