Axima Concept’s Tunnel Ventilation Systems (TVS) division is part of Equans (Bouygues group) and is dedicated to supporting the industrial, energy, and digital transitions. It brings together more than 30 specialists in ventilation and smoke control systems for underground structures, covering key areas of expertise: electromechanical ventilation, acoustics, material handling, metalwork, fire compartmentation, low-voltage electrical distribution, and instrumentation.
With a proven track record dating back to 1975, the division is involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, both in France and internationally. Based in Lyon and the Île-de-France region, it provides its clients with cutting-edge expertise in underground environments, ensuring coordination and performance. As an example of this expertise, the agency is involved in the ventilation systems for the Grand Paris lines (14, 15, 16–17, 18), provides maintenance for the T2 tramway in Nice, and contributes to innovative projects such as the Duplex A86.
In line with a commitment to continuous improvement and environmental responsibility, Carbon Shift, a subsidiary of Equans, now supports the TVS agency on each of its projects. This collaboration enables the company to offer a comprehensive approach—from audit to operation—by integrating carbon footprint assessment at every stage of the equipment’s life cycle to guide decisions toward more sustainable solutions.
This commitment is part of a broader focus on risk management and quality. Safety is therefore an absolute priority, with a “zero-accident” policy in compliance with ISO 45001 certification. At the same time, the ISO 9001-certified management system—enhanced by quality assurance plans and rigorous documented procedures—is regularly evaluated through internal and external audits. The certifications obtained, including several Qualibat certifications, attest to the agency’s reliability in managing complex underground projects.
